I attended the study abroad fair event on September 5th, with my roommate because she was interested in studying abroad in the spring semester of her sophomore year. She is doing a double major in political science and dance. There is a study abroad program in Arezzo, Italy. This is an incredible opportunity for her because she can take a break from her political science major and just focus on dance for 15 weeks. During her study abroad, she will be dancing at least 3 times a day, and will have a personal chef to cook all of her meals. This study abroad fair was an incredible opportunity for me to learn about programs offered and to make sure that my roommate gets to fulfill her dreams of going to Italy. Muhlenberg College provides so many incredible opportunities to do what you love and learn about new cultures. My roommate does many different types of dance, but her favorite is ballet and point, so this opportunity is perfect for her to learn new things about the Italian dance culture and practice something she has always loved doing.
