I don’t know what I was expecting to read in the prologue but I was shocked. Everything that occurred was strange and unexpected. Women were sexualized for everything they did and were viewed as bad. They were expected to appeal to the mean so anything they other than that was not acceptable. I found this text to be weirdly enjoyable as every turn of the page opened a whole world of cruel. I was entertained and disgusted. I found the prologue to be similar to the first-eighth nights where new information was discussed every sentence. Their was no introduction or conclusion, just text. Many societal issues including race, gender, hierarchal power and education were mentioned. Women were viewed as bad but when the man saw his wife cheating on him the only acceptable thing to do was to sleep with 10 other women. So far this book has been intriguing and cruel.
